Why

Can't I get to sleep to save your life on "Christmas Eve". Yes,indeed that is my predicament at this moment in time. I may be fourteen but the pre-Christmas excitement still gets to me. I should be in bed but I can't get my brain to relax and fall asleep. Almost every Christmas I can remember I tried to fall asleep in my own bed but some how end up in my parents bed. Yes,it is super babiesh but their bed is a little more comfortable and I always get to sleep Christmas Eve in it unlike my bed. Jamie is also awake with me...I think. He eventually gets annoyed also with not being able to fall asleep so he lays on one side of the big bed and I sit on the other with the invisible line that is created my two pillows. We talk for about fifteen or ten minutes then either of us wants to go to sleep. Last year that was me,this year it is him. So now that leads to now. While laying on my half I suddenly think "Blog". So here I am blogging away over the fact that I can't sleep and how much I want to sleep. Well I guess I should get to bed and try to sleep again (I made a funny, heehee).

Cheaper By the Dozen 2

Yes,the prequel has come. It is funny and a slight bit unrealistic. Basically the basis of the whole movie is that the Bakers went back to their old vacation getaway to have some family time. They get caught up with their old time friends the Berdaugh family who is stuck-up,rude and o ya obnoxious. Although this movie was pretty family oriented some parts just weren't at all. Two of the Baker's ends up having crushes on two of the Berdaugh's kids which happens in almost every movie with the plot of "vacation" in it. The Berdaugh father constantly criticizes the Baker father on his parenting skills but doesn't seems to realize that he himself isn't doing a good job. One of the Baker girls wants to wear make-up to impress the Berdaugh boy but she doesn't know how to. She gets in a little trouble but then she goes to her sister for help and she helps like all great sisters do. The Baker girl goes out with a Berdaugh boy to see the movie Ice Age with permission from her father. The kids were only in 8th grade for crying out loud!!! I think the message in this movie is that "let your kids grow up and let them follow their dreams". Although this is a "ok" movie I think I like "Yours,Mine and Ours" better because it was written better. I give it six stars.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

One word descibes the movie "WOW". The acters where very good, the animation spactacular and the fight scenes amazing. When people get shot with arrows or poinked with swords there are no great amounts of blood spewing from the wounded area which makes this film almost G-rated. Some parts are very surprising even if you know what is going to happen next. At one time Mom and I just about jumped out of our seats during one part of LWW. There was many little kids in the theatre, although this movie is is very G-rated quality some of the battle scenes and White Witch encounters my scare some little kids. Other than that I give The Chronicles of Narnia:The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe a ten. This movie will surly make you want to see even more of the Chronicles!!!

Snow 2005

So ya I woke up at maybe six o'clock to hear something pounding my window,it was rain though. I jumped back in my nice warm bed and then again woke up at nine. I then ran to the kitchen door and "Ta-DAAA" there was a bit of snow in the ground and trees. All this morning it has snowed, sleeted and rained off and on. They weather man said that it might snow one to four inches but I think we are actually getting more. What is super neat is that two kids named Peter and Lisette have lived in Puerto Rico their whole life so they have NEVER seen snow. They were all hyped up yesterday when I told them that it was gonna snow today. Both of the are dressed in the correct winter clothes which is good but Lisette is wearing CAPRI's!!! I think I would be cold but I guess as long as you are having fun and playing she will stay warm.

Yours,Mine and Ours

Today Dad,Mom,Jamie and I went to go see Yours,Mine and Ours at commonwealth 20. The plot is that a man named Frank who has eight kids marries a woman named Helen who has ten kids (six of them are adopted). Both sets of kids hates their new brothers and sisters. Helen is very artsy, free spirited and her favorite phrase which is "Home is for free expression and not for good impression". Frank on the other hand Navy,Admiral and favorite phrase "A clean ship is a happy ship". Some of the things that happened with the kids seemed very unrealistic such as kids hanging out the window s and such. Other than that it was an ok movie. When a set of twins gets picked on at school the other brothers and sisters come and help them from being bullied. After seeing Yours,Mine and Ours I really wanted to have a bigger family.

Mrs Christy is No Longer Teaching Ballet

Yesterday my whole Ballet class and I found out that Mrs. Christy is no longer teaching our Ballet class or any other Monday class. The reason being that her baby has been having a lot of problems with her ears and that Mrs.Christy has just had to many classes to teach WHILE having to take care of her sick baby. I will still have Mrs. Christy for Hip-Hop/Jazz though so that is good. The new teacher who will take over in two weeks is Miss(Mrs?)Stephanie. Miss Stephanie is coming to watch us and take notes for the next two weeks,so we will get used to her. Purple Skirt was late and didn't hear about Mrs. Christy not doing Ballet and when she heard something about it she sadly dramatically said "You are leaving us!?!". The Mrs Christy had to go and explain everything she just told us to her. On a good note I have finally put little dots on the wall so now when I am doing barre and going across the floor for combinations I can spot something!!!

Polar Express

Today Mom,Dad,Jamie and I went to see the Polar Express movie at the I-Max Dome in the Science museum of Virginia. We were late so we had to run to get there before it started. When we finally got seated,I knew how out of of shape I am (LOL). The Polar Express is awesome movie. The graphics and animation were spectacular and amazing. There are many scenes where it feels like you are on a rollarcoaster. I told Dad that I want to get this movie on DVD. Polar Express puts you in a good mood like the regular "Muppets Christmas Carol","Preachers Wife" and "It's a Wonderful Life". Little kids might get too scared on some parts so I think only kids 8 and up would like it. But the real question is "Do you believe",cause I do!!! You'll have to see the movie to understand what that saying means.

Thanksgiving Stuff 2005

Ohhh where to start on what I did on Thanksgiving... Well Gommie B. came home for the day from the Nursing Home. Dad,Mark and G-Dad went to pick her up at eight thirtish but didn't get back to the house till almost eleven thirty. Reason being why they were so late was that the CNA's didn't know she was leaving for the day. After Mom took care of making Gommie B. and G-Dad's lunch we drove to Gommie K. (mostly known as Grandma now) and Pop Pop. It was already bustling and loud in their house with cousins,Aunts,Uncles and step cousins. Soon Pop Pop did his Thanksgiving prayer thing he always does. Then we brought our plates and went around to each of the tables and got and or asked for what we wanted. Then all the kids went back to the living room which was quite full of little/middle/big kids. There is two other girls who were born the same year as I was who are my cousins: Rebekah and Stacey. We ate pretty fast and hightaled it outside with my boy cousin Spencer who is brother to Stacey. All four of us always end up going to Rebekah's house. So Rebekah asked Pop Pop if she could drive us over to her house to play and stuff. All we did at Rebekah's house the first couple hours was play on the computer. While sitting I mentioned how Rebekah and Stacey looked like they wore the same eyeliner. Rebekah was like "Can we do makeup and hair on you?!?". At first I thought she was gonna mess me up like put lipstick on my face or something. By now Spencer's Mom had picked him up. I said sure so they both started on makeup. The put on some foundation but it looked orange. I jokingly said "Hey I was born orange!". I then had to wash all the makeup that was on my face so they could start over again. First I tried plain old water but it didn't come off. Rebekah told me to use a pore cleanser thingie to get it off so I did. It didn't work very well so Rebekah had to come and show me. FINALLY after getting the foundation off they started over again. Both of them almost didn't even get to do their "Mini Makeover" because Mom came to pick me up. Mom decided to just let them bring me home. They seemed to have some serious fun time making my face over. Next came my hairdo. Rebekah and Stacey first tried curls,it didn't work very well. So they curled up the ends of my hair. After a few hours I was done. I REALLY liked it a lot. Aunt Jackie (Rebekah's Mom) was very happy with it. Rebekah,Stacey,Scott (Rebekah's brother) drove back to the farm on the Gator. Then Scott drove me back to the house. A few hours later we had Thanksgiving Dinner with Gommie B. and G-Dad. Mom made a lot of good food. A few minutes after eating Uncle Kyle,Aunt Neva,Ben and Isaac came over to have some Butterscotch Spactacular. We ate it down stairs by the nice warm fire while watching a football game. Soon it was Isaac and Ben's bedtime and they went home. After they left Gommie went home to the Nursing home.

Purple Skirt

I enjoy being around adults but some of them and their attitudes makes me wanna scream. There is this lady in my Ballet class who is actually a "student". She wears these black spray painted Ballet shoes, white tights, black leotard, hair in a semi bun and a long bright purple skirt. EVERYONE else in the class wears pants or just wears tan tights and a black leotard. There is also another lady but she is "cool" with all of us. The other lady who I will call "Purple Skirt" hardly likes anything everyone else likes. Purple Skirt wants a Recital song with no lyrics and sparkly, itchy, poofy,no off the shoulder dresses for an outfit. Everyone and I would like to have lyrics to the song we dance to a Lyrically outfits that aren't sparkly, itchy or poofy. Some of the people in our class including me wanted our Recital dance to be "Broken Road" by Rascal Flats but Mrs. Christy said she has already started a competition group on that song. Mrs. Christy said she has found a classical song which she is gonna bring next week. Purple Skirt also trys to hold her passe for almost two minutes. Purple Skirt enjoys telling wierd stories like "My little daughter was crying and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I looked at her from head to toe. I looked again at her feet and found a string of hair wrapped around her big toe and that was the day I got my hair cut". Does anyone agree with me that that is a weird story??? All of this stuff isn't so bad I guess. I tolerated Angela (Elizabeth,Laura and Kaylyn would know what this means.) for three or four years so I will be ok I guess.

My Love of Music

Drew's post on his Blog about music made me want to post something about it also so here it goes:

When I was younger I remember my Mom was strictly Christian music whereas Mark Aaron stuck to his roots;Country. Eventually Mom found Delilah which isn't Christian but easy listening and Mark went to Rock&Roll. I don't think I have EVER been into a certain types of music. People often can't believe I like all different music. I don't know how I have learned so many different songs because we have more Christian music than "secular" in our house. Yes,I own a Hilary Duff CD. No,I don't think she is the best singer or actress to ever walk the face of the earth. I watched her movie "Raise Your Voice" and I got a CD that had some of the songs in it from the movie. Which are "Fly","I Am","Someone's Watching Over Me" and "Jericho". On the way home from dance once Mark was listening to some music on a CD and it went like this "Angels wings will cover you tonight". That was all I could remember the next day about the song but I LOVED it. I asked Mark if he could burn me the "Angel" song (That was what I called it because I didn't know it's official name). Luckily he knew what I was talking about!!! Through that CD I have found three of my favorites which are "Anastasia","Beat Inside" and "Angel". These names are ones I just labeled ones, they probably not the official names. Plus One was one I stumbled apon while looking for a good CD to listen to in my Dad's large array of CD's. Yes,they are a boy band. No,I don't listen to them because I think they are cute. I think people shouldn't listen to music just because the person is cute who sings it. Gosh,it makes me annoyed when people say "Ooo he is soo cute;his music is good too". The good music should come first. That is what I think. You aren't quite a youth til you get a Relient K CD,Super Chic(k). Both of which I have. I am not a Relient K crazy like Joe but enough that I like a few of their songs. I like hymns not enough that I love singing them everyday. I used to have to sing them every Sunday;my voice got really sore from the high notes. How on earth do some of those ladies in choir hit such super high notes?!? If you are an expect sometimes you can know who is the "high noter" without even looking to see. No doubt they are some rockin awesome hymns like "Amazing Grace",the whole song sums up the whole life span from sinner to saint. I really like it even more when the person who sings it isn't a "high noter" but a low -medium singer. It can be SO beautiful when you sing it that way. Matthew West's "Thirteen" is one of my new favorites. Just ask my Mom: every time it comes on the radio I scream "This is my favorite song!!!" and crank it up all the way on the computer and keep it that way til it is over. This same thing will happen every time I hear it until I know this one well and find a new one I like a lot. I have Carrie Underwood's CD "Inside Your Heaven". When she sang "Independence Day" I got goose bumps on the crown of my head. That normally means for me a really good singer. Another sign of my enjoyment is taking my knuckles and banging them together happily. I think Dad is where I get my love of music from. My Mom isn't as musically inclined as Dad and I. Dad has a deep baritone singing voice. When we go to a new church and someone normally snaps their neck our way to see where that deepness is coming from it is SO funny. I guess I am just used to it... Ask my Dad how many CD's I have on my Christmas probably twenty or so. I keep adding more and more every day. If I get CD's for Christmas I have just about enough to last me through the year!!!

Thank God For Caffeine!!!

Ok,recently my internal clock has been seriously messed up. I have been going to sleep at twelve but then it takes me about thirty minutes to actually fall asleep. Then the next morning I wake up at ten or eleven. Then the bed time keeps getting later and later from two in the morning to four the next. So that makes the wake up time even MORE later. My Mom is a pro at waking me up but as of late her techniques don't work. If she pulls the covers off I get mad,and I will be mad the whole day. If she says "Annie, wake up". I'll say "Five more minutes". So then she will leave and I sleep another fifteen minutes. This isn't fun for either of us. Today I fell asleep at four in the morning. I then had to wake up at eight fourty fiveish. I was SOOO tired. When we got to Kingsway Dad let me get a Mountain Dew:Code Red. The Dew wasn't very strong in taste but it kept me awake through the whole service at least. Right now I think the Dew is the only thing keeping me awake at this time. Soon it will wear off and I'll be sleepy all over again. As far as I remember caffeine has never been a big deal with me. When I have caffeine I am calm and controlled unlike some people I know who bounce off the walls. I think I have figured out how to fix this problem by not having caffeine in the afternoon (I don't drink much soda anyway),going to bed at ten thirty and get a supply of Mountain Dew for the mornings when I can barely can get my eyes open. Lets just see how this plan works!!!

Annie the Cocoon

Today we had to go to Jamie's football at ten thirty. I being reasonably insane wore shorts but I brought a blanket thinking that it would be a little warm. Well we always have to get to the field about an hour early so his team can warm up. After about thirty minutes I was freezing!!! Luckily for me I brought a nice warm blanket. I was wearing an orange hoodie so I put the hood over my head and tightened the strings so all you could see was my eyes. Then I took my blanket and covered my legs and put what was not covering my legs over the rest of my body. Mom and Mark took a picture of me. This senario might not sound amusing but it was to my parents,Mark and bystanders. The game seemed rather long because I was suffering from being cold. A part of me wanted Jamie not to win this game (Because if he didn't there would be no more practices and games) but the other half wanted him to win and go to the finals. Lucky or not his team won the deciding game twenty something to six I believe. I might be able to convince Mark to put the photo of me in my cocoon on this Blog. We will have to see about that factor though.

Scarcity of Comments

I have noticed the scarcity of comments on my Blog recently. Is my life that dull to read about. I mean the people who plant advertisements have time to put comments on my Blog but my friends don't. I am not saying you guys are awful and never comment I am saying that I take the time to read your Blogs whenever you post something new and normally I comment on it. I feel like I should get the same respect. And when you read all of this don't take it the wrong way. I am just trying to voice my opinion on something that is bothering me to the extent that I need to post something about it.

Home Coming 2005

Yesterday afternoon Jamie,Mark,Mom and I went to Home Coming at Jamie's football field. The field was full of Flag,Minors,Junior,Senior football player. I think they were playing two different football games for fun on the field. The Home Coming rituals started a little late. Dad came in a separate car because he had to go to work. We waited while they called out the names of the flag, minors (the cheerleaders for each group also) and had to literally wait till the end of Juniors to hear Jamie's named called. Then Dad had to leave for work. Next came the calling of the Prince and Princesses of Flag,Minor,Juniors and Seniors. I knew someone who got to be a Prince on the Flag team named Logan who was in my AWANA group last year. Jamie unfortunately didn't get to be a Prince. They then called the King and Queen. I didn't really pay attention to that part. Next came the Powderpuff football game. This is where the cheerleaders play flag football and the football players cheered. It was amusing to see the cheerleaders play, although after a while I noticed that they were only going way which was boring after a while. The football players who were cheering looked more funny so I went down to the fence to watch. There was this one guy with something stuck in his chest to looks like boobs, that was messed up. Some guys were running around with fake hair and makeuped faces. The Seniors started running around with silly string and spraying anyone they saw. I think some of Jamie's friends did it too. The cheerleaders coach tried to make them cheer but not a lot of the boys were cooperative except for a few weird ones. This one boy in particular was rather large and when they did the butt shaking stuff.... you get the picture. Then they started lifting guys up in the air like cheerleaders do. I have never seen such a big bunch of wimps. Soon the game ended and it was pie time *dum-dum-dum-dum* (theatrical music). They called names to throw a pie at a coaches face. The person who threw a pie at the coaches face missed and it brushed the top of the guys bare head. His teammates weren't too happy. At the end Jamie got a cup with candy in it, I think the cheerleaders got a cooler "gift" thingie which was a big red water bottle. Then we went home and had Dominoes pizza.

Richmond AWANA Conference 2005

Last Saturday Dad and I went to help out at the Richmond AWANA Conference. Mom woke me up at six-thirty to get a wake-up-shower and to get dressed and ready. Soon Dad and I were out the door. First we stopped at church to see if we had a video my Dad was going to show at the Conference because Mr. R forgot it. Luckily we had it. Then we stopped at Doughnut Connection for fifteen dozen doughnuts for breakfast for a hundred some peoples at Conference that morning. We then rode a few minutes to the church where the Conference was being held. We went in and delivered our doughnuts into the Gym where they were supposed to be. I then met up with Bonnie and her sister. We held the door as people were coming in. Then Bonnie got bored so she went up the hill where the road was and got a nice orange and yellow vest so that people would come over so she could explain to park. Bonnie got bored again to she went up to the main church and put the vest on a chair. I didn't want the vest to get lost so I put it on and wore it the whole day. Both Bonnie and I were tired so we went into one of the Nursery rooms to sit for a while. We talked a little bit. We got bored again so we walked around a while and ended up guarding Scherer Hall because they were having the Rorheim Institute teaching in there and peoples were barging in to get to a different way to the other side. The way you are supposed to pronounce Scherer Hall is "Sher Hall". Well the day before I called it "Scher-sher Hall". Which when I said it,it would sound like "Shersher Ha". My way of pronouncing it stuck,I said it that way all day. Some how or another we both got recruited to carry water bottles by this girl named Heather. She was like a drill sergeant thinking she was the boss. It was annoying. Luckily we some how ran away after we finished. We ended up down at the bottom of the hill where Bonnie, her sister and I were able to have a doughnut. Most the time we sat in the sitting room ajacent to Shersher Ha talking and sitting. One of the times when we were down the hill the Chic-Fl-A cow van came with lunch. I thought I could wait until the second group of people came for lunch but all of the teachers were eating so I got my lunch which consisted of a chicken sandwich,Lay's Orginial chips, water and a big chocolate brownie. It was very good. Good thing I did have mine a little early because at teh end there was no more chicken sandwiches left!!! By this time none of the kids had any caffeine left in them so we sat in the shade. Heather pretended to slap some of us. Then she threw a bit of water on my back. I told her she better watch her back because she shouldn't be picking on people three times stronger and bigger than she is. I think she thinks she is some kind of girl who can get away with anything. She was joking around with a guy who is a police man who goes to their church but he was watching the traffic and stuff and she pretended to slap him or some thing like that. I wouldn't have done that,at least I respect authority. So anyway, I did more hanging out. Bonnie went home early because her back was hurting bad (She has back problems). I didn't do much afterward except for help my Dad rearrange the rooms to what they used to be. We had to leave early because my Dad had to work that night. We went to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard and some Gas for the car. Then we went home.

State Fair 2005

Yesterday afternoon Dad,Mom,Mark,Jamie and I went to the State Fair of Virginia. After we parked a tram picked us up to drive us to the front gate, although we weren't that far away from it. The seats in the tram was burning hot!!! A few seconds later Mom went to the ticket booth to buy our tickets while we stood near the entrance in anticipation. Mom gave us our tickets and we went through the gate. Jamie and I got a smilely face arm band that meant we could ride the rides. Every year we go through all the exhibits first. First the Virginia building with it's Brunswick Stew, the milk in a bottle at the "Got Milk" booth and the always Farm Beauru booth with it's funny cow. The next building over had a lot of fish... BORING!!! Outside of the second building was the blue ribbon vegetables and stuff like that. Another thing we always do is go to see the cows and goats. I don't really get the point of going to the cows barn when I can see a thousand of the same kind at Pop Pop's farm. Goats on the other hand, I hardly ever see. As we walked down to the big red barn to look at some more cows (o joy) we stopped at a stunt show which was cool but would have been cooler if the sun wasn't blazing in my eyes the whole time. After thirty minutes we went to the big red barn for a few minutes. We then stopped to get a Icee. Mine was a Mountain Dew Icee,it was very good. All of us quickly went through the three other large buildings with arts, crafts and peoples selling stuff. Dad and I found some chairs we could hang up on the front porch because our old white one broke and the peoples who did our siding took it down. We didn't buy it though, Dad said we could probably find it on Google. Mark wanted to some Country singing thing but Jamie and I didn't want to. So Dad went with Mark and Mom stayed with Jamie and I so we could go on the rides. I think the first ride we went on was The Caterpiller mini roller coaster. After that we went in a fun house. I went on the Tornado. Jamie went on the fun house two more times. Then both of us went on he Tornado. Both of us then went on the Hang gliders which went higher than last year,so I screamed a little bit. Jamie went on the Ferris Wheel, I HATE it so I didn't go on it. Then Jamie and I went on the Crazy Mouse. While standing in line for it I saw my little rebel Logan. He said "Hi" and I said "Hi" back. Poor Jamie was on the side of the car on the Crazy Mouse so when it kept doing fast turns I get squishing him. Before we got on I told him to sit on the inside part but no,he didn't listen to me!!! Jamie then went on a roller coaster type thing that looked to scary for me to go on. By now both of us were tired of rides to we met up with Dad and Mark at the Country thing. I REALLY hope Mark goes back to his nice Country music but I doubt he will. We stayed to hear a few songs. Before we left Jamie got some pizza and a drink. Dad,Mom,Mark and I had barbecue from Virginia Tech. I had pork barbecue,Dad had chicken barbecue and Mark had beef barbecue. Everyone had a drink, coleslaw and beans also. Soon it started to drizzle a little so we walked hastily to the van. When we got home I was wide awake from my Mountain Dew Icee and Mountain Dew from my meal I had I stayed up until one thirtish!!!

Mrs. Christy's Ballet Class

Today I went to try out Mrs.Christy's Ballet class. There is only about nine people in the class which is a decent size. It was VERY quiet during the whole class. At the barre the music played really slow, but it helps your muscles get stronger because you are controlling what your legs do and not throwing them around. Some of the stuff we did across the floor was easy, but I do need to work on my tehnic. Mrs.Christy is as awesome as every. I really like her being my Hip-Hop/Jazz and Ballet teacher. Other than it being a little easy, I really liked Mrs.Christy's Ballet class.

1st Visit to Kingsway Nondemoninational

Today Dad,Mom,Mark,Jamie and I went to see how we liked Kingsway Baptist. Kingsway Baptist is held in a school just like Parkway but Kingsway is closer to us. We were running a little late so we got there a little bit after they started. So we sat in the very back. The singing was very contemporary. They had drums, piano, and some kind of loud flute. Almost everyone raised their hands or clapped whenever the music played, I wasn't used to that kind of singing. After we sang a lot we sat and down and there was a testimony and a announcement of a couple that got engaged. A group of people walked out of some doors and silly stringed the couple and gave them balloons in front of the whole congregation. It was quite funny. Then they had a five minute break, where we were told we needed to move up because they were going to take the chairs from the back. We ended up sitting very close to the front and freezing to death. The Sermon was very deep in logic and long in time. I guess it would have been more interesting if I was taking notes, but I didn't feel like it. To mention there was a ton of kids. I saw a bunch of teenagers but most of them were guys and there was also ton of little kids. Jamie's coach from his first year of Upward's goes there, the D's go there who come to Bethany Place for AWANA and two of Jamie's friends go there too. After an hour and thirty minutes Worship was dismissed.

This afternoon Mom,Mark and I went to a Biblestudy type thing at a house next to the Kingsway site where they are building their church. We went in and were greeted immediately and asked our names ect... We then walked into the kitchen where I saw and talked to Courtney D. Then we all went downstairs to the Biblestudy room with other Mom's and their daughters. They are doing a Biblestudy with the book called "Stop Dating The Church". The topic was modesty so we had a big group discussion on it. After that we went into three small groups and everyone had a topic they had to answer questions. Ours was The Body. Mom mentioned the song from Casting Crowns called "We Are The Body", I started singing the chorus and everyone said sing it again (It was rather embarrassing!!). We then broke into Mom and Daughter groups were we discussed some more. After we were finished everyone had snacks in the kitchen up stairs that consisted of Ruffles chips, barbecue chip,Tostito chips, ranch dip,Cheese dip,Salsa dip, carrots, mini brownies and mini candy bars. It was very good. We talked and stuff, then we went home. The Biblestudy was better than I thought, I liked it I guess.

Mrs. Christy's Hip-Hop/Jazz Class

Today I went to Mrs Christy's Hip-Hop/Jazz class to see if I liked it enough to want to take it. It was too hard for me in my Ballet,Tap and Jazz classes on Monday so I am going to take different classes (Which I have to see how I like them by taking one of the classes to see how I like it). In the class they wear the black hip-hop shoes which I like a lot and because Mrs. Christy teaches it and she is my favorite teacher. I think I am younger and shorter than a lot of the girls but I don't really care all that much. The advantages of being short is that you get to dance in the front instead of dancing all the way in the back. Before class started I looked over and there was Amy R. from Swift Creek. I was surprized to see her. I didn't walk up and say "Hi" or anything. I waited till she noticed and she said "Hi". Amy is very tall and very blonde. She is nothing like Kaylyn though, no one can match Kaylyn (I mean that as a compliment Kaylyn!!!). In all there was twenty two in the class. Thankfully they had another class that had no one in it so some people are going to change to that one. All in all the class was fun. My next I am going to try is Ballet on Monday with Mrs.Christy which should be great too. I'll write again when I get to try it out.

Valiant

Today Dad,Mom,Jamie and I went to see "Valiant" at the Commonwealth 20. We were almost the only people in the theatre we were in except for a family with little kids who squealed a little during parts of the movie. "Valiant" is a movie about a pigeon named "Valiant" and his dreams to become a carrier pigeon in World War 2. The animation was wonderful, even to where the sea almost looked real to life. The movie was very clean cut except for a few spots here and there about farting and burping. Other than that "Valiant" was "all around" good.

First Day of Dance 2005

Today at five thirty was my first Ballet,Jazz and Tap classes. This year we have a lot of JEMs and three girl named Elizabeth,Laura and Kaylyn from my last years class. Ballet was first and taught by Mrs.Jessica. All we really did in Ballet was simple stuff. After Ballet came Jazz. Jazz is my favorite again this year. The JEMs goofed off but us four stood in the corner waiting to start the combination. Last but not least was Tap. It was hard-core-work-out-Tap-mania. The weirdest thing is that the whole studio one is backwards. Instead of the mirrors being on the left side, they were on the right. It was difficult to get my bearings straight at times because of the different set-up. Mrs.Mary said that those of us who could not do draw backs need to work on them, she wants them good by the end of September. I am scared I won't get it,but hey I thought I would never get Mr.Chris's eight body postitions but I did. I guess I will just have to work on it... During Jazz and Tap Kaylyn kept saying over and over again how she looked like an idiot because she couldn't get the steps right. I told her we all look like idiots some what,it just takes practice, practice, practice to get a step right. I personally was having difficulties doing a across the floor shuffle-ball-change step we did last year in our dance. Soon it was time to go home. By now it was eight thirty.

1st Visit to Parkway Baptist

I don't know if any of you guys knows this but we are looking to attend a different church as of September 1st, so here is the account of what I thought of it and such. Today Dad,Mom,Mark,Jamie and I visited Parkway Baptist Church, it is held in a school called Grange Hall while they are making their own church building. Jamie and I went to Big Group which is kind of what we did at Bethany Place. I saw Steven M.,Chad's younger brother,Kacie who were all originally form Swift Creek where we used to got to before Bethany Place. I didn't feel shy or anything like normal because I actually knew some people who are already members there. After the leader dude announced stuff we watched a Fuel video. Then soon after we spilt into groups. Jamie was in the seventh grade class where I was in the eighth with Kacie, two other girls and two boys. The lesson was about Rahab and the spies and how bad people can turn good. The guy who taught the class is the manager of Chic-Fl-A which I thought was cool. After about thirty minutes class dismissed and everyone went to Worship. I met up with Jamie and found Mark, then we went to the gym where the Worship service was held where we found our parents. It started out with the choir singing, they were pretty good. Then the congregation sang, no one turned around to see who was singing when my Dad started singing (He sings loud and low and it sometimes startles people, but not me I am used to it!!!). The music was contemporary but it did have a hymn at the end. I like that kind of a balance where it just isn't one type of music. The sermon was ok, it wasn't long and monotonous or too hyper. The one good thing is that the service let out at twelve o'clock instead of the normal one o'clock. We went to Michael's so Mark could get some art stuff he needed for class, went to Gamestop so Jamie could look,Barnes & Noble for Mark because he wanted to see if they had a book he wanted, at the very end we all went to CiCi's Pizza for Lunch where I saw the Youth dude but didn't go over and say "Hi" or anything (I was shy).

Dad,Mom and I went to Parkway's picnic at the C's (Jamie and Mark didn't go because Jamie wanted to go to the Block Party at Bethany Place instead) I think it was all the way out in Amelia county. Anyway, we pulled into the parking lot where we then parked and got out our chairs to sit in. A guy who was driving people down the road to the house picked us up and took us down the driveway a ways. Then Mom put her cookies on the table and went over to the pool to try to watch the people being Baptized. Then we sang some songs, prayed over the food and ate. There was the usually Southern Baptist Hardee's chicken and biscuits and casseroles. I was rather stuffed still from CiCi's so I didn't eat a lot. I walked over to where Kacie and her friends were, I figured if I was going to see how I liked Youth there I would have to hang out with them!!! They were all nice and stuff. Soon came the egg tossing contest upon which I didn't compete in because I didn't want to get egg all over me. Next came the pie eating contest. Two ladies, one man and a boy competed in it. One of the two ladies won. I sat on the pavement and talked with Kasie and her friends. Then Dad,Mom and I soon had to go home.

Busch Gardens 2005

Yesterday morning Dad,Mom,Jamie and I went to Busch Gardens. When we got there it was WAYY early!!! We parked ALL the way in Italy 8. The first ride we went on was Corkscrew Hill 2-D in Ireland. My Mom went on it and screamed the whole time I think... Anyway, soon we went to New France where Dad,Jamie and I went on the Log Flume three times like we do every year. We then went to eat at Trappers Smokehouse. Mom and I had some chicken and rice, a roll and a Mountain Dew. Dad and Jamie had chicken with a roll and Pepsi. It was very good. WE walked across a bridge and went on the Big Bad Wolf with Dad and Jamie. It was a little scary for my first hanging ride but afterward I thought it was so wicked awesome. Jamie bought a hat with the wolf on it and then "Who' Afraid???". I think after that we all went on the bumper cars. I wanted to go on the Loc Ness but Dad said we would do that next year. We then walked to Italy where Dad,Mom,Jamie and I had a chicken, onion and peppers sandwiches. They were good too.Soon it was time to leave because Dad had to work and Jamie had a football practice to go to. ON the way out we met Matt and Mr.O. We were all surprised. We talked for a while and then went home.

School Year Starting 2005

Ok, I know it is a little early to start saying this but... man do I hate school. It isn't that I hate being homeschooled, I love it. It is just that I get all hyped up to get started and I do the easy stuff first but when I get to the first lesson in Math it always makes me aggravated because my brain hasn't worked numbers all Summer. Normally in Math books they have review the first ten lessons or so to get back in the swing of things but by new Algebra Math book just starts with fractions right away where I left off in May. That is very overwhelming to just start doing fraction problems right away after three months of no Math at all. O ya and the Geography which I thought would be fairly simple to do isn't. We have this World Almanac which has teeny tiney words barely able to read and if you look at them long enough they all seem to jumble together so that you can't find the right word you are searching for. It has given me a headache!!! All I want to do is get finished the two annoying subjects but Mom and Jamie are at the pool so I will have to wait until they come back so Mom can help me get through the overwhelming Math and the confusing Geography.

New Refrigerator

Today our new Kenmore refrigerator arrived. Our old refrigerator had a broken handle, broken shelves and a very small freezer. Now the freezer and the refrigerator are two times bigger it seems and there is a dispenser for ice and water which I REALLY like. We have to wait until tomorrow though to use the water and ice thingie because of what they spray in it in the factory. It is so white,it just stands out so much you just have to stare at it!!!

My New Hair Cut

Today I went to Mrs. H's Hair Palace to get my hair cut. It has been long and the same length for some while and I wanted a change. I got a few inches taken off but it seems like half my hair is missing!!! Before it was reaching the middle of my shoulder blades but now it is just were my shoulders are. It feels SOOO much lighter, the knots aren't bad and my hair feels silkier. I think I will let my hair grow out again during the Winter but when it becomes Spring I might want to get it cut a little short again.

St.Francis Employee Picnic

Yesterday afternoon at one o'clock Dad,Mom,Jamie and I went to the St.Francis Employee Picnic. I was expecting to sit on the ground with other people kind of picnic but it was held in the same tent the Dedication and Blessing Ceremony was held in on Saturday. Inside the tent were table and chairs and on the far left side was the food and drinks. The food table had chicken enchiladas, roast beef sandwitchs, hotdogs, jalepeno poppers, chicken rolls,cookies,some-type-of-crackers-dipped-in-honey-and-brown-sugar and a lot other good food. It was quite packed inside the rent so if you found seats at a table you had to grab them fast. My favorite food was the jalepeno poppers and the chicken rolls, they were VERY good. After about ten minutes Jamie was done eating so he went to play the games outside and bounce on the Moon Walk they had beside the tent. I wasn't finished eating so I stayed inside the tent. Maybe fifteen minutes later all of us went on a self guided tour of the hospital AGAIN because Mom forgot her camera the day before. We spent about thirty or so minutes there. Then we went home.

The Blessing and Dedication of Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center

This afternoon Dad,Mom,Jamie and I went to the Blessing and Dedication ceremonies at eleven o'clock. The place where they were holding the ceremony stuff was in this big white tent with a ton of chairs and a few fans that were only towards the front. We got there right on time but the only seats left were in the back so that is where we sat. Mom said that the heat index today was 110. Everyone used their hand outs they got to fan themselves. It was very nasteyyyyy hot. The whole thing started out with a lady named Sister Rosemary welcoming everyone. Then four important people remarked about some stuff. That took a very long time!!! Next everyone stood up and sang "Lord of All hopefulness"(I didn't know this song). We stood up some more and did the "Rite of Blessing with Most Reverend Francis. Next we sang another song called "Psalm 93 All the Ends of the Earth,I didn't know that one either. After singing Most Reverend Walter read Matthew 4:23-25 from the Bible. Then they had the Gathering of the Waters. Basically the dumped water from the Jordan River,River Seine (Where St. Francis was born) and some water form the fountains at St.Mary's and more. They took some kind of plant and dipped it in all the water and, then took it out and flinged it out behind him. I am not Catholic so some of the stuff they did during the ceremony seemed odd to me. I think we prayed about five times after that. After all that Sister Rosemary came back and declared the dedication. At the end we sand "Ode to Joy". That song a DEFINITELY knew. Then we went out of the tent to watch them pour the water into the fountain and start it up. By now I was sweating a lot. Dad,Mom,Jamie and I went into the hospital for a tour in the lovely AC. When I walked into St.Francis it didn't even look like a hospital. They have marble counter tops, marble floors, really comfy chairs, water cascading down the entry, flat screen tvs in every room,Egyptian bathrobes and slippers in each bathroom with a shower in it. The whole hospital could be a resort if it wanted to!!! It was all so wicked awesome. After about thirty minutes of looking around Jamie and I's tummy were grumbling so we went to have some food they had there. On the paper they said "light refreshments". Well.. I didn't think they were "light" at all. They had crab dip, chicken balls, meat balls,a unleavened bread type bread, vegetables, cookies, puff balls, little miniature cakes and a lot more. It was SOOO good!!! After about fifteen or so minutes we went home.

Chili's

Yesterday afternoon for Dinner Dad and I went to a new restaurant down the street called Chili's. We got there and was escorted to our seats. I had water and Dad had Coke to drink. We shared a big thing of chips and dip for an appetizer. The dip had cheese and beef in it, the chips were good too. For the main course I had Cajun chicken pasta and Dad had Marguerita grilled chicken. The chicken in my pasta had some serious fire on it. I had to dip it in the sauce in the bottom of the plate to make it less fiery in my mouth. I ate about half of my food (Dad did too) and doggy bagged the rest for Mark Aaron and Dad did the same. For desert we had chocolate tower that Dad and I shared. On the bottom of it was rich moist molded cake still piping hot, inside it was chocolate and maybe some caramel, on the top was a honkin big thing of vanilla ice cream with hard chocolate on it. It was heavenly,I almost died and went to heaven (LOL). Dad paid the bill and then went home.

Nationals vs. Dodgers

Yesterday afternoon A bunch of people from my Youth group and I went to see the Nationals vs. Dodgers game. We rode in the church van for about an hour in a half. We then parked in a parking deck. We payed for our tickets and went through to get one a the subway. Travis bought the wrong ticket so he had to go back and ask to get a all day pass. All during this Joe,Daniel and Jamie had to "go" bad but there was no public restroom in the Subway station for some odd reason. The other thing was that there was no AC in the Subway station except for some fans here and there. Finally we got on the Subway but there was no AC there either!!! After a while on the Subway I started feeling sick like I was going to pass out. I didn't though. Soon we got off at the "Mall" in D.C. To go get some food. When we walked across the "Mall" to go to get something to eat. By now the boys had been "holding it" for thirty minutes. When we got into the History Museum everyone had to go to the bathroom. So we all did. Then we went downstairs to see if there was any food. It was closed so we decided to eat at the RFK stadium instead. Once again we walked across the mall to the Subway station. After getting off the Subway we walked straight to RFK. Of course there were the street vendors selling water, soda, hotdogs and peanuts. By now I was dragging bad. I was very tired from hopping train to train and with it being all hot to top it off. We got in the line to get in. While we waited I lay down on the curb because I was just so hot and tired at the time. A Police man came over to see if I was ok. I said I was ok. He then asked if I have been drinking water I said I had some but it was sorta warm. Then the Police dude walked away. Soon it was time to get through the doors. They checked bags and then scanned our tickets. The boys wanted to get autographs and I just wanted something wet to drink. So I went up to the line and I smelt the hot dogs.. once again almost passed out. I gave my money to Mr. H and asked him if he could buy my sierra Mist with my money. He took it and I went to sit down. Then Mr. H came had a few sips of my Sierra Mist. I then got up and we started walking to our seats. It took I while to get there because I started feeling light headed once in a while so I sat down every few ramps. We were all the way up in the yellow seats near the tippy top. Once we sat down things got cooler. There was a small breeze. I was ok. Soon John and the boys came up to the seats. A lady sang the National Anthem and a guy threw the first ball. Soon things were getting to. By the third inning I was getting thirsty again. So we walked down to get a drink. I ordered my drink but once I smelled the hot dogs I thought I was gonna pass out. So I sat down. The I stood back up and went back to out seats. I stayed there the whole game after that. This guy from the Nationals team who's last name is Wilkerson made a grand slam!!! It was really cool when everyone stood up and clapped for him. Well at the end it was Nationals 7 and the Dodgers 0. We won. John said for everyone to go the bathroom cause there was not gonna be anymore stops after this. So we all did. Then we slowly walked to the Subway. It was packed with peoples. Soon we got on the Subway car filled with people. By now I wasn't feeling to swift and neither was Daniel. Daniel's head hurt real bad. So anyway we got off that Subway and got on to another that was less packed. I was happy then. We then went on another train that we rode all the way to the Subway Station where we started off at. Then we all walked to the church van and got in. When I am bored I sing and I couldn't help it either!!! I just aimlessly sang for no apparent reason. I talked to Joe almost the whole time because neither of us could fall asleep unlike everyone else in the van. We were in bumper to bumper traffic because a dump truck broke down I think. One we were out of the traffic we were very close to the church. In about fifteen minutes we were back at church ready to be picked up to go home and get some sleep. By the it was two thirty a.m!!!

Water Country USA 2005

Yesterday at nine o'clock Mom,Dad,Jamie,Matt and I went to Water Country USA. It was an hour away so I brought some books and my CD player. I finished my Girls of Many Land Yup'ik, Minuk:Ashes In the Pathway. I needed a break from reading to I listened to my cd player. Sooner than it seemed we saw the sign for Water Country USA. We waited in line to get in the parking area. When we got out I put on sunscreen on because I didn't want to get burnt. Jamie and Matt didn't though. So we walked in gave out tickets to the persons. Of course we had to take a picture of the water country sign in front of the park like always. The we went on our first ride called "Jet Scream". It was a half covered tube slide with bright green one seater tubes. I was nervous while waiting in line because I didn't know if it was going to be scary or not. Once I was actually on the ride it was nice. I did it again after my first time. I can't remember all the rides we went on but the two I remember are "Turbo Racers" and "Hubba Hubba Highway". "Turbo Racers" was like those slides at the State Fair except it was bigger and had water on it. At the end of race I got up and started running. I slipped and fell on my butt and in the process tried to catch myself with my hand. I hastily got up and walked over to Mom and Dad. When they were speaking everything I heard sounded muffled along with the fact my wrist was killing me and so was my butt. Jamie went with Matt again on "Turbo Racers" while Mark went to take our heavy bag back to the car with my sandals in it. Soon I was hearing normally. After some more rides my feet started burning because the pavement was hot. Once or twice I almost cried it hurt so bad!!! For lunch I had chicken strips and French fries with a Mountian Dew: Code Red. It was pretty good although where we sat there was stupid wasps that kept coming around us. I HATE wasps, bees ectra. So we moved to a table that was away from the trash can. We went to "Adventure Isle" next. It had a leisure water ride where u just went around and around, four scary slides and monkey bars across a small portion of the pool. After thirty or so minutes we went to some other rides. Last but not least came "Hubba Hubba Highway". I had bugged Mom and Dad to go there all day long because in the website it said that it was the biggest attraction in the park. It wasn't THAT cool. It was a leisure ride almost like "Adventure Isle" except it was longer and had little water spouts here and there.I went around like five times. By then I was tired and so was everyone else. So we went back near the entrance were Jame and Matt rode "Malibu Pipeline". I didn't go on it because it was a closed tube slide and I don't like those. So we waited. Dad and mark started getting on my nerves. Soon it was almost time to leave. Dad,Mark and I went to the candy shop to get vanilla Dippin Dots for me to eat because I was thirsty while Jamie and Matt rode the "Jett Scream" for the last time. Then we went home!!!

4th of July 2005

This afternoon Mom,Dad,Jamie and I went to Mr.R's house for Dinner. They had soft and hard tacos with beef and chicken. It was quite tasty.Along with out family there was a some others. One of the kids named Aaron is sorta weird like. He thinks he has a time machine, communicates with martins and thinks that he is friends with them. He is just plain out weird. Anyway, I sat in the adults room because the children's room was very crowded. Soon we left to go see the fireworks near the resovoir. I rode in the car with the C. family. I noticed while we were going to find a parking that there was a ton of people . Like every block there was cars lined up. Finally we parked and started walking. We walked for like nine minutes. Once we got to the area we were sitting in all the kids went down to the water to skip rocks. I sat in the grass. Soon the fireworks started. I couldn't see very well due to the fact two big trees were in the way. If you stood near the water you could see them better. So for twenty minutes we watched the show standing up. After that time it was dark. We started walking in the dark which is hard when you can't see what is in front of you. Safely we all got to our cars. The R's dropped us off at our house.

Day 9:Going Home

On Saturday morning once again just like at the last hotel we slept at I woke up freezing. For some odd reason if you blast the AC all night it is gonna be cold in the morning.John and Mr. A. went to go fix the trailer. John said some guys who do race cars used some drill thingie and popped that tire off and put it VERY quick. The coolest part was that it ONLY cost five dollars. So everyone woke up went downstairs to have breakfast. I got dressed and was ready to go in a few minutes.Soon John came back drenched because it was raining outside. Soon we were on the road again. Of course there was the fights, the yells the annoyance etc... Soon it was time to have lunch. We stopped at a Wendy's slash gas station. I got Spicey Chicken fillet combo. It was delicious. Soon we were back on the road again. It was about an hour later when Daniel had-pee-BAD. Joe took a bottle with Mellow Yellow in it and swished it back and forth in front of his face. Daniel A. laughed so hard he cried!!! It was pretty funny. Soon we passed over a cannel of water. That was pretty funny also. After fifteen minutes we stopped at a gas station and we all relieved ourselves. Once again we got in the van and headed out. Toward the Lacy started grinding my last nerve!!! She was talking about some show that was bad and I told her to please stop but she didn't listen. So I said please shut-up. So I yelled at her to shut-up. Soon Megan said Lacy and Annie can't talk til we get to the church. I shut my mouth til I got there unlike Lacy who talked. Mark Aaron met me at church and we picked up my bags and we went home.

Day 8:Leaving M-Fuge

On Friday morning everyone had to pack up and put stuff in the trailer so we could get on the road to get on home. Before we left we had our last Breakfast at camp. I had chopped up potatoes. Then we went to have individual pictures done next to this building where some water contraption was. Everyone was standing in line to get individuals. Daniel R. was up there when all of a sudden came a blast of water. It got everyone wet. I believe it had something to do with a prank pulled on Bryan W. earlier in the week. It was quite funny yet my whole backside got wet. So we all prayed with Bryan. Next we all piled into the car. This time I sat ALL the way in the back with Lacy and Gage. I got quite annoyed with them after a while. When I got annoyed with people I took my notebook and gently hit them(NOT). It hurt when I did it but it didn't leave any bruises or anything. I fell asleep after a while. I woke up to a rumble strip we were driving on. Mr. S opened the back door I mumbled "I am gonna hurt whoever just opened that door!!!" Then I looked back and saw Mr. S and said "What happened why is the door open?" Then I looked at the trailer tire and saw a completely limp, flat torn up tire. Soon a sheriff came and we drove half way in the grass up a down ramp.Once we got to a gas station the "guys" started looking at it and trying too get it off. It was REALLY rusted so it was quite difficult. The coolest thing is that some guy came by and gave us a tire that fit PERFECTLY!!! Some other people gave u some tools to get it off and a car jack Since all the middle schoolers were all bored we decided to go in the van to get some bolts for the tires. Lemme tell you, that is NOT a good idea!!! Three girls and few boys who have been cooped up in a fifteen passenger van for quite a few hours tend to start to get agitated with each other. I was SO close to hitting Lacy so hard with all my might it isn't even funny!!! Well there was no bolts so we went back to the gas station to find all the kids who stayed were cleaning up the parking lot!!! Eddie was the one who started cleaning,I was amazed. M-Fuge really must of made a BIG impact on his life I guess. So the lady who was there let us leave our trailer there. We unhooked it and we drove to the nearest EXIT. We found a Sleep Inn. John paid like ten dollars and no tax less than the original motel we were gonna use. So all of us got our over night bags and found our room. I was in a room with Donna and Megan. I took a shower. John ordered Pizza from Domino's because we hadn't had Dinner yet. I had Pepperoni pizza. Then I went to sleep on the floor again.

Day 7:At M-Fuge

Thursday was the official last day of M-Fuge.I woke up at my normal time. For breakfast I had chopped up potatoes, Then I went to Quiet Time and Biblestudy. It was all good. Next came "Send Off".Then we went over to our track sites for the last time.I had lots of fun hanging out with Rikki,Sergio,Fronze,Sandy and many, many more kids.I miss them already!!! But I figure I shouldn't be sad because I made an impact on them just by wanting to play with them. Most kids who are Spanish or African American don't like us white people because they think white people are rich and snotty. Who knows maybe I planted the seed of Salvation on them which someone else will come and help the reap a harvest!!! One girl asked me if she could have my name tag I said No but u can have these beads I got in a Send Of Celebration one night. So I gave them to her.For lunch we had ham with cheese,Lay's chips and kool-aid.Soon we headed back to camp. Some of the girls started to cry but I wasn't. I am not one to be touchy, feely. When we got back it was free time. For my free time I read my "Little Women" book and took another thirty-minute nap.For Dinner we had pizza, rice etc... It was all pretty good. Next we went back to our track rooms were we have Biiblestudy to fill out forms about how we liked camp and got each others screen names etc... Next came Worship. I found out that Joe had a crush on a girl in his track. He basically told me everything. Since Joe was afraid to ask Nicole (That is her name) he got Mark C. to ask for him. When Nicole said "Yeah" it wasn't exactly "No" or "Yes". Some how between Worship and Closing Joe found out Nicole really liked him too. So after Closing they got each other emails and addresses. We went to our dorm rooms,we prayed and then we went to bed. So ended our last day at M-Fuge

Day 6:At M-Fuge

On Wednesday I woke up at six-thirty. I did all the "stuff" I do before I go to breakfast. I went down to the Dining Hall with Sara,Donna and L.A.All I had for breakfast was cut up potatoes.Anyway I went to Quiet Time and Biblestudy. Nothing eventful happened during those activities.Next we went to our site.Sandy,Brandi and Rikki were there that day.We did the hop-hop--clap-forward-clap-back-stomp-right-foot-clap-behind-leg-clap-in-front of leg. We did good but not as well as yesterdays though. Then the kids started to go through the different areas.I did the art area. The kids made an undersea paper plate with blue surran wrap to make it all blue looking. The crafts turned out well but that paint and glue got all messy.Soon it was lunch time.Us "track peoples" has Bologna with cheese,Lay's chip and water. The sandwitchs tasted funky.Other than that it was all good.A while later the "Creative track" came and did a puppet show and sang some songs. After that Rikki,Brandi and I started playing our stomp game. Some of the "Creative track" people wanted to learn so we showed them.Sooner than it seemed we had to leave.Sandy asked if I was coming back tomorrow and I said "Yes!". I thought "Man,I am gonna miss her when I go home". So we went back to camp that we are not able to do "Mega Relay" because it was supposedly going to rain.Almost everyone went to their dorm rooms. I had to take a shower because my whole face was painted. El Stupido Drew scribbled on my pant s and legs. After I took my nice shower I read my last chapter of the first section of my "Little Women" book. After that I took a lovely thirty-minute nap.I woke up and had went down to the dining hall. I had pizza, chicken and broccoli with carrots. It was very good.We then went to Fellowship. Mark was the announcer dude. The whole show was quite funny. Then we went to our dorms, had our prayer thingie and went to bed.

Day 5:At M-Fuge

Once again on Tuesday I woke up at six-thirty. I think I started getting good at this whole getting up early idea!!! So I got ready ect.. Again I was the first one ready to get some breakfast.I had tatertots again. That was all I had.We did our Quiettime and Biblestudy. Then we went to "Send Off Celebration".That was great. So we went to our kids track area.I LOVED it so much!!! I REALLY enjoyed it to the fullest. This time for lunch we had turkey with mayonnaise,Lay's chip and oranges. It was ok. Soon it was time to go. Mark took us all to get a small Slurpee from 7Eleven. I got Darth Dew. It was great and I made sure to say "Thank-You" to Mark. Then we went back to camp. I helped drop off some stuff in theDining Hal. We were gonna go to the water park but we ran out of time. When I got to my dorm room I got dressed to go the beach. My first time all the way in the ocean was sort of scary cause the waves pull you in and to mention the nasty bad salt water that gets in yours eyes. The dumb seventh grade boys threw sand at me and I threw sand back.Somehow or another I got a cut on my knee cap. After an hour or so we went back to our dorms were I took a shower and got dressed to go to an out door mall called City place didn't like going there because it was very fancy. We went in this chocolate place were the boys from our Youth group played arm wrestling. Son we met the rest of out group at a water fountain. I found out that Nick and Taylor were caught jay-walking and then chased by security guards. They were caught though. So they were both is serious trouble with John. The weird thing is though that they had two different stories. Taylor made it sound like there wasn't even any police people!!! I personally think Nick was telling the truth.I ended up getting wet because Gage splashed me with some water from one of the fountain's. Then we all went back to our dorms. Us girls did our prayer thingie. Then we all went to sleep.

Day 4: At M-Fuge

Monday morning I woke up at six-thirty again. I did my normal "Get dressed and ready routine". Of course once again I was the first one ready to go!!! I got to wake up Donna and Sara. I tried to get Alexa to come wake them up because that is what they did to her the day before.I went into Sara and Donna's room and yelled "WAKE UP!!!". Then they both yelled at me.Alexa got there too late so she didn't get the pleasure of waking the happy campers up. After a while all of us went to get Breakfast.I had chopped up potatoes and a bagel with cream cheese. So next came Quiet Time and Biblestudy. Both were awesome. After all of that we went to "Send Off Celebration".We sang songs and prayed. Our track leader Mark jay-walked us to our bus. Apparently school buses don't have AC but o well.It took us about fifteen minutes to get there. First thing I saw of the church was a white building, rod iron gate and a sign written in Spanish and in English. So when we got in the church itself I smelt something smelly. It smelt kinda like mold but I figure is wansn't all that bad after a while. While I was there I learned some names for the rest of the week. Here are the ones I remember" Rikki,Laura,Edward,Shela, Brandi,Fronze,Sergio,Terek and Tyler. The kid I got along most with was Rikki. She was about my age and she was fun. I learned a stomp step from her and her friends. Here is how it goes:clap-front-clap-back-right-foot-stomp,clap-behind-leg-clap-in-front-of-leg. I said I would practice that step and maybe learn a new one the day after.Soon it was lunch. We had cheese and ham candidacy, law's Chips, apples and water. The water was good and so were the chips but the candidacy tasted kinda funny. Other than that everything went well. Then all of us went back to camp to have free time. I spent mine taking a nice hot shower and then read a book in the lounge. Then I walked down to Dinner where I had breaded chicken, chicken pot-pie and potatoes & onions. I liked everything.I thought we were gonna have our pictures taken for our group but because it was raining they cancelled. Next came Worship. Daniel P. fell asleep during Worship and I could hardly keep my eyes open during the sermon. Next we played a game called "The Apprentice".We played games to win points. We didn't win but you could get ice cream afterward though. There was a long line so I didn't get any. I came back to the dorm room. After a few minutes we prayed again. Then we all went back to our rooms and went to bed

Day 3:At M-Fuge

At six-thirty on Sunday I was awaken by no body.I literally woke up at six-thirty by myself!!!. I was dressed and ready to go.Of course I was the ONLY one ready to go. About seven o'clock we all went to down to eat Breakfast. I had tater-tots and a piece if French toast. It was all good. Next came quiet time in our track room.I did everything like I was supposed to.Afetr Quiet Time came Biblestudy. Some of the girls dabbled in my some trouble. We played a few games. Then we went to Worship, it wasn't long though because the people were having "sound-difficulties".So a few minutes later we went to a training class which taught us how to tell a kids about Christ and the Roman road escheat...Back to the Dining hall we walked to get lunch. Daniel P. and the PYCr's (Paint,Yardwork, construction) started yelling "PYC Whoohaa". It was VERY LOUD!!! I had pizza and an egg roll. Lunch was also good.Once we went to Worship. The sermon was about how the Lord is our Shepard and stuff. I enjoyed myself. After about an hour in Worship everyone cam back together with their church's for church bible studies. John did an so wicked awesome job.Kaitlin,Donna,Sara,L.A and I went to see "Open Mic-Night".We sat there for a half minute watching a girl sing mournfully "Old MicDonald Had a Farm".It was a waste of a half minute but wahteva. All of us were bored so we left and went to the M-Fuge store.I didn't buy anything though. I REALLY wanted to go back to our dorm. So Donna and Kaitlin took me We got there and L.A weren't there. It was about eleven forty-eight so we were worried that they were gonna get locked out. Luckily for them they were able to get in. Well after a while I got my PJ's on. All the girls met in Megan's and L.A's dorm room to have a prayer time. Then all of us went back to our dorm rooms.

Day 2:Traveling to M-Fuge/At M-Fuge

On Saturday I woke up to a cold hotel room. I got up and got dressed. Soon everyone was out the door. Then we piled into the two vans.We stopped at McDonald's for lunch but I didn't get anything due to the fact I don't really like McDonald's breakfast food.So anyway John A. drove for at least three ours. Son "Mr.-I-Gotta-Pee-Eric" had to go really bad.I think Eric has a bladder the size of a peanut. We stopped at a gas station because the windshield wipers on the other van weren't working which didn't help much because it was raining. So Mr.S and Mr.A tried to fix it.While they were working on that everyone went to McDonald's again for Lunch. It took FOREVER to get my food. I ended up having to eat my food in the van. A few hours later we stopped again to pick up Taylor,Alexa's cousin who was coming to M-Fuge with us.Once again we started back on the road. Sooner than it seemed we entered West Palm Beach. It was quite fun during the torrential down poor of rain as we drove!!!We then got out and went into a building where we watched a video about the rules. It was kinda funny. Afterward we had to carry our luggage to our dorms. Well right about this time it started to rain. It was weirdly fun drudging through the rain with a heavy duffel-bag. I ended up "rooming" with Tammy. We went to Worship were we sang songs and heard a guy named Brian preach. We then all went back to our dorms. Next we went to our track groups. I got the "Kids" track that I wanted. I learned everyone's name ext...After about an hour we went back to Worship. Were we sang more songs, watched a skit and prayed.Due to the torrential down poor of earlier I went to get my back-pack,overnight bag and my CD's out of the van.Ten I went down stairs to the lounge place to take pictures of girls from our Youth Group playing pool. After a while I got bored and came back up to my room. Then I went to sleep

Day 1:Trip to M-Fuge

A Friday ago at three o'clock our Youth Group started our trip to West-Palm Beach,Flordia.Right away we had the music blasting and a million conversations going on at one time. This is what the seating arrangements were: John A. was driving,Tammy in the co-Pilate seat,I sat by the window with Daniel P. and his girlfriend Leslee next to me. Behind us were Mark C,Daniel A. and Ashley.Next was Eric,Joe and Gage.In the WAY back sat Kacey,Lacey and Megan. Anyway we sat in the car for a long time. When it became five o'clock we stopped at Wendy's to have Dinner.I ate Spicey chicken fillet combo/I can't really think of a ton of stuff that happened but here is one thing. I was drinking some Gatorade out of a bottle when someone said something funny. So I thought I was going to swallow then laugh but I laughed first. I spewed a mouth full of Gatorade on the people on the front seat with me and the people driving and co-piloting. It was quite embarrassing. After many hours in the rental van we finally got to our hotel. I was in a room with Donna,Sara and Megan. I slept on the floor near the AC.Megan slept in a bed by herself and Sara and Donna shared a bed. So ended the first half of our traveling experiences.

FUZED

Mom,Dad,Mark,John Russel and Jamie dropped me off my dance friend Elizabeth's church. When I stepped out of the car there was Elizabeth and my other dance friend Kaylyn (AKA Bubbles) next to her. Then we went inside the churchand I signed up to win a door prize. While signing up I met Daniel P's girlfriend apon which I found out she goes to that church. Finally the people incharge opened the doors and we all went in. Som eof the people were setting off blow horns and coffeti thingies. I followed Bubbles and Elizabeth to the third row were we sat down. After a few minutes they gave out the door prizes. Elizabeth won a bucket full of 120 pieces of Dubble Bubble gum. Soon after we sang some songs. I don't think I knew any of them but I sang anyway. A few songs later we sat down again. I believe we listened to a guy talk for about thirty minutes. Awhile after that we sang three songs I actually knew. The ONLY wrost part of the whole singing was that the music was REALlY pumped up and it hurt my ears because in one patr the speaker squeeked VERY loudly!!! Then we dismissed to have Domino's pizza. While waiting in the line I saw Andrew F. but for some odd reason I called out "Hi,Andrew R.". You see we have two different Andrews at our church,it can be very confusing. Anyway I corrected myselfafter sayin that. A few minutes later I got two pepporoni pizzas and went to sit outside with Elizabeth and Bubbles. We talked and stuff. My MOm came and picked me up and we went home.

My First Day Back to Youth Group

This afetrnoon at six thirtish I was able to go to Youth Group due to the fact AWANA is over.I am so relieved to no longer have my "Challenge" to deal with yet his older brother is moving up to Youth in a week (tear, tear, sniffle, snifflle). John told us to move the couchs so we did. So anyway,in the start of Youth we played this game where you had a balloon on a string tied to your ankle. Ever one else did also. You had to try to pop everyone elses balloon without yours getting popped. I am not a "Sporty" type so right when the game started my balloon got popped. It was the greatest fun watching the other guys and girls run around yo pop each others balloon with such great force of want. After that arrousing game we moved the couchs back into place. John said to get our Fuel notebooks. He said if you don't have a notebook, get a blank one from the back. So since I didn't I got one. Then we watched this sorta funny, stupid movie. It was oddly funny (almost like how my little brother likes Spongebob cause it is stupid). A little while later John talked about the movie, read stuff from the Bible and filled in the blanks to the sentances on a sheet of paper. Afterward I got a piece of paper and made a sign "Layla's Fuel Notebook" for my Fuel notebook. Of course Layla insant my name but Layla means Persian:night child. I am a night owl and stay up very late!!! I also like the name Azura cause it means blue sky. I may make a new sign that says "Azura's Fuel Notebook". Then Mom,Jamie and I went home in Izzie.

End of the School Year Party 2005

This afternoon at five thirty Jamie,Mom,Dad and I went to SCBC for the Annual End of the School Year Party. When we got there right away we saw all the boys Jamie's age were goofing off in front of the Brick Building. After a few minutes we all went in. Of course there was the nine girls who giggle and draw on the white board, the eight or so boys who play outside, the little babies, the adults who talk the whole time and little old me bored out of my mind. I casually glanced over at the food table,I noticed that most of the stuff on the table was "organic and natural". Literally most of the stuff there was potato salad,"organic potato chips,"organic ketchup and some baked potatoes. Lucky for me they had hot dogs and bbq. A few ladies wouldn't eat the ketchup because it had sugar in it. Gawwly,it is ONLY a little sugar for crying out loud!!! Like the WHOLE Co-op group are ALL "into" Organic and natural. I mean it is good in some ways but when you refuse ketchup because it has a tad bit of sugar, does anyone agree with me that is a tad bit too much??? People like that just make me wanna scream at times. Anyway,Mr. O prayed over the food. Everyone then ate some food. I personally didn't have much of a selection though. So I ate,I sat on my butt tried to read a book but I couldn't. After few hours we all went home.

Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants

This afternoon at three fifteen my Mom and I went to see "The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants" at the Commonwealth 20. We first got a big tub of popcorn (which we half devoured before the movie even started),Buncha crunch, bottled water and Diet Pepsi. After we stopped at the concession stand we went straight to the theatre. Mom and I sat almost at the very top. Anyway,we saw a bunch of commercials but not a lot of them looked that good. One thing I noticed was that there is going to be a lot of G rated movies so I guess that will better. So after the commercials came the actual movie. Lemme tell you all one thing "DON'T,may I repeat DON'T bring your little brothers, older brother,Dads or any males for that fact. This movie is strictly a "Chic flik". Any boys or men who would go would have to watch some "Manly Man" type of shoot um up movie after all that girly stuff. If you are looking for a good cry, romance and some laughs you should see The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants. Make sure that you don't drink a lot of liquids during this movie because you are going to have to go the bathroom during the last half hour of it. Trust me,just lay off the drinks toward the last half hour. All in all this movie was decent and quite clean except the characters said "grass" without the gr a lot. So other than that a few scenes that only girls would understand it was pretty much "All Good".

Teachers & Helpers BBQ

Yesterday afternoon at three thirty Mom,Jamie,Dad,Mark and I went to the S's house in Powatan for the Teachers & Helpers BBQ. It took a long time to get there because Powatan is a rural area. We had to stop at a gas station because we were almost out and because my Mom was worry warting over if we would get there and back without enough gas. When we finally got there I saw the S's and some other S's. While we waited for people to arrive Dad and I decorated the four wheeler and the wagon hooked on the back with red, white and blue streamer thingies. After a while a TON of people showed up at one time. These are the people who were there the M's,S's,S's,VDH's and a lot more whose names I don't know.Right away a bunch of boys started playing kick ball in the S's very BIG front yard with nice beautiful green grass.I myself hung out with Kendall,Charlotte,Katie,Sara,Aleisha and a few more girls. Soon the hay "ride" started. Mr. S's drove us down the road and into a cul-da-sec and then drove us back down right into their driveway. It was pretty fun.I tried to play kick ball but I never got to kick the ball because the kids who were thought I was bad at kick or doing anything as a matter of fact. I HATE when they do that,I am not a complete wimp like Adam. I do take dance and work out sometimes for crying out loud!!! Anyway, after a few minutes it was time to eat. Mr. S blessed the food then everyone there digged in. I got some yummy pork BBQ chips and some noodle salad junk. For desert I had a red, white and blue cupcake, delicious chocolate fudge. All of it was pretty good. Soon after eating I saw Ali playing Barbie's on the S's front porch. I walked over there and saw Andrew R playing too. I started showing Ali dresses for the Barbie to see if she wanted to put them it. Andrew R jammed his finger so that is why he was sitting there. After playing with Ali I went over and tried to make bubbles with big wands but most of the solution was gone. Soon the party was over and people were leaving. I went inside to help Mrs. S. I got to see Katie's room which is SO CUTE!!! The S's have a hamster named John, who has the coolest cage for him. It is basically a BIG hamster wheel inclosed. It is pretty neat. Mark was dying to go home so I hurriedly walked to the car. After that we al went home.

AI (No it doesn't mean Alan Iverson)

So ya,Carrie Underwood won American Idol I screamed really loud when Seacrest announced it. My Mom and I have been hoping Carrie would win all season and she did!!! Underwood is a way better singer than Bo Bice any day. Personally I think Vonzell should have been in the top two but whateva. When I watched Carrie Underwood sing "Independence Day" I got goosebumps on the spot on the back of my head when I hear someone sing really good.I told my Mom when Carrie's CD comes out we are going to have to get two of them because my Mom will want to listen to it ALL the time so we should have our separate CDs.

Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith

This afternoon my family and I saw the latest saga of Star Wars. The WHOLE movie was nothing but high intense fighting scenes except for the end when things were quiet and solemn. Most of the stuff that was revealed was stuff that I already knew was going to happen. Most of the scenes I couldn't stand to watch. Personally the rating should have been more than PG 13 due to VERY graphic violence. It wasn't that awful, just a little nasty and scary in a few parts.I am not going to expose any of the discoveries that happened in the movie incase anyone reading this Blog hasn't seen it yet. Other than a lot of intense fight scenes the movie was well made with so wicked awesome backdrops, great sound affects and to mention the neat costumes. All and all they wrapped up the whole giant saga of Star Wars. My Dad believes that they need to make three more movies because "When did The Sith die?". I guess everyone will have to see if they are going to make anymore.

Dance Recital 2005

Today at five fifteen Mom,Dad Jamie and I went to the school for down the road for my Dance Recital. My Dad dropped Mom and I off at the door. We took the makeup bag, costume bag, shoes bag and my backpack filled with books and my CD player. Anyway when we got in the school there was a humonngous line to get in the auditorium. Then we went in the dressing room which is called "The Commens". I hate where they put us to change because convienatly there is a BIG window right where that area is!!! My class and a few others were smart enough to change in the bathroom. Our first dance was "Blue Satin". I was a little nervous but we did quite well and nothing went wrong this time. Next came Pointe. Apon which when I went to do the last esshapay I wasn't able to because my ankle felt like it was going to collapse again. Other than that Pointe was ok. Along came Ballet. Our WHOLE class was backstage the WHOLE time of "Sleeping Beauty" except when we FINALlY danced at the end. While we were standing there I noticed that there was sparkles on the steps backstage from where Patrick dumped some by accident. I showed Amanda, she had the great idea of putting the sparkles on her hands and the rubbing her hand on her arms. Next thing I new we all had sparkles on. Another thing that happened was Bianca said she was sorry for being to mean to me during Pointe. I was speechless but then I regained and said "o ok thanks". One bad thing that happened during "Sleeping Beauty" was the girl who played both head Faerie and a girlfriend tripped and tore the bottom half of her dress. When she came off she looked down the ribbon piece was gone at the bottom. Almost the whole rest of the production she cried. She even cried while dancing, yes she thought it was that bad. Everyone I talked to said they didn't see her fall. When she came off of the stage Mrs. Mary told her how unprofessional it was to be crying even when you messed up. Another not so good yet funny thing happened: one girl who was a girlfriend danced with her outfit on backwards!!! She was laughing and so was every one else. Ok back to our dance, we did very well. Next came Jazz. We ROCKED!!! All of us did so wicked awesome. It was the BEST we have EVERY done!!! I was very confident in doing it along with every other dance. Soon came the end where they play "We Are Family",gove JEMS awards and we all go home. I went home with Mom,Jaime and Ellen (my Mom;'s friend who came to watch me dance" because my Dad had already went to work.

Dance Dress Rehearsal 2005

This afternoon around four o'clock Mom and I went to the school down the road for Dance Dress Rehearsal. When we got there we saw no one we knew. So we sat down and waited. A few minutes later came Elizabeth. A little while later came Kaylyn,Laura and Amanda. Soon everyone filed into the auditorium where the recital is. After a few dances came Tap. Laura was very nervous so was Kaylyn. I was nervous but not so much I was shaking or anything. Tap went well but towards the end of the song it messed up to we kept on dancing without any music. Afterward Mr. Chris was like "It is al my fault". He was joking though. Next came Pointe. It was AWFUL!!! I went to do esshapay and my left ankle did the "roll out number". I thought I sprained it but when I started walking on it I noticed it felt alright. Next bad thing that happened was when we were doing another esshapay my shoes on my right foot came half way off. Then after those sorta bad incidence came our Ballet. The Ballet went well except that we couldn't hear our music very well. At the end of the Ballet my hand started shaking and wouldn't stop like when you are nervous (which I was). Next was Jazz. Jazz is the dance I am most comfortable with. I know what I need to do and I do it well. We all did AWESOME. Then came comments from the teachers. Our class didn't get hardly any. Sooner than it seemed we all went home. Tomorrow is The Recital!!!

Ballet Rehearsal 2005

Yesterday afternoon around three o'clock my Mom took me to the school down the road again for my Ballet rehearsal of Sleeping Beauty. My classes number is close to the last dance seen in the story. We are nymphs who lead Prince Charming to Sleeping Beauty along with the Head Fairy as a guide while we dance. The funniest part was when the people in the music thingie ma bob couldn't get our music right so we had to walk off and on stage about three times. Finally we were able to our dance!!! The worst part is that we only have a little bit of stage to dance on because the backdrop for all of the other acts are in the palace. So we all found out that we are dancing in a space like the one in the studio. It isn't horrible but it looks weird and we can't see the X in the middle of the stage due to the fact the curtain is covering it up. Mrs. Jessica said that she going to make a new X that we can see thank goodness!!! So we did the curtain call, bowed etc.. Then teachers commented on some stuff. After a few minutes everyone went home

Car Wash

Last Saturday my church Youth Group had a car wash in the Wal-Mart parking lot. When I got there, there was already kid and some adults there from the morning shift of the car wash. Right away I got a rag and started washing a car. I soon found out that you had to rinse the car with water, clean the car with the soap,so the tires and then rinse all that off. A while later I started to get the routine of things. Mrs. F was always telling someone to get something or clean something. So I playfully started calling her Sergeant F. A hour later the seventh grade boys started playing around by taking sponges fully loaded with suds and water and flinging them at the kids working There was two older girls who were helping, they were wearing jeans. I mean who in the world wears jeans to a car wash?!?! I guess they didn't know that jeans soak up water and then they stick to you. Eric for some odd reason decided to put suds on his face so he would look like Santa Clause. I asked him if he knew where those suds had been "He said in the bucket". I was thinking more on the alines of "In dirty water where germs are floating but whateva". Also I was thinking sooner or later one of these boy s are going to get some soap in their eyes because they are messing around. It was funny when Eric started complaining to his Mom that he had soap in his eye. Eric's Mom said "I have no sympathy at all to you because you got soap in your eyes due to the fact That you put suds on your face". I was sing that song called "I Told You So Nany-Nany-Boo,Boo". A little while later John gave some of those mischevious boys a bucket to go "beg" at the front of Wal-Mart. It technically wasn't begging, just standing there asking for donations so we can go to M-Fuge. The "begging" boys raked in about fifty bucks. Those of us who were washing cars made about 1,000 some buckaroos.

Tap,Point and Jazz Rehearsal 2005

Today around three o'clock my Mom dropped me off at the school down the road from us. When I stepped out of the car I saw Elizabeth and Emily immediately. I ran over to them both to find that Emily was going to call Amanda (her sister who is in our Ballet dance) to tell her that we weren't doing the "Big Ballet Production" and that it is going to be on Wednesday NOT today. When Amanda showed up Elizabeth and Emily told her the new she was said "O'well" and went home. After a few seconds Laura came and Kaylyn. By this time it was time to go in the auditorium. Our first number is "Satin Doll" which is Tap. It is an old song like the ones you hear in those old black and white movies. I did well but I kept looking at the teachers below the stage instead of out at the crowd. So it made me look like I was looking at the floor. Next came the Pointe which only Elizabeth,I and a bunch of other girls. I SERIOUSLY don't know what the song is called because Mr. Chris didn't tell us. Well I thought I did pretty well. Right after our Pointe Elizabeth and I had to hurriedly get our pointe shoes off because we literally have ONLY one song to change costumes and shoes. Our Jazz dance is "Rhythm Nation". Personally think I did ok but Mrs. Christy said we needed to be in the middle of the stage by looking at the star in the middle of the stage. Other than that we all did great. After a few more songs we all left to go home

It's Finally Over!!! 2005

Around two thirty Jamie,Mom,Dad and I went to Mrs. P's house for Jamie and I's BIG test. When we got there Jamie had to take his test first because he was going to see the Busch Race right afterward. I have vowed that I shall get to go first next year because since first grade it had been either Jamie or Mark going before . Then I would be stuck going last, which is quite gut wrenching since the BIG test is important. Jamie took about thirty minutes surprisingly enough because normally it is supposed to take an hour. Those thirty minutes went by very fast while Jamie was in there because I was spending my time reading my book. Anyway right when Jamie came out it was my turn. It actually wasn't too bad this. I wasn't nervous at all due to the fact I knew what I was confident. We did the normal Math first which was easy, spelling which was sort of easy, reading was VERY easy and some other stuff that was pretty easy too. After thirty minutes or so I was finished. Jamie,Dad and Mark left to go to the race after Mrs. P talked to Dad,Mom,Jamie and I. I graded well on everything and I am OFFICIALLY a eighth grader now!!! Since the "boys" are out tonight Mom and I have decided to do some partying ourselves. My Mom wanted to go out and shop and eat at resturaunt but I am one of those girls who likes hanging out and gorging myself on junkfood with her Mom. Anyway I ended up winning: Mom got Pizza Hut pizza,Coolers Ranch Doritos,Guacamole Doritos,Cheetos,Strawberry Propel Fitness water and MAYBE some Ben&Jerry ice cream. So when it becomes eight o'clock Mom and I are going to watch the race, eat lots of yummy food and maybe get to see my Dad and brothers on the TV if we are lucky!!!

Sewing Class & The Last Day Of Dance

Around twelve thirty Mom and I went to Mrs. L's for sewing class. We cut out the fabric and sewed the pockets. The WHOLE TIME lil'-miss Maggie was yelling her head off saying "Pick me up Mommy, pick me up". My loving Mother kept trying to help me cut or sew. It isn't like I don't appreciate her trying to help but I really want to do it by myself. I feel sorry for some of those kids in my Sewing group who have their Mothers yelling at them for not doing it right. I personally like doing it myself not with my Mom doing it for me, like some of the kids in the class. Anyway the WHOLE time Maggie was screaming and Maggie's Mom was yelling at her. Maggie was a LOAD of aggravation. I am the oldest in our group, I guess my maturity level is higher or their are lower. After a few hours it was time for dance And I got dressed in the L's bathroom. Mrs. L let my Mom and I have some cake. We took it with us so I could get to dance on time. While in the car I noticed that my reading glasses weren't in the car with us. I figured out I had left them at the L's. My Mother started giving me the "Annie, you REALLY need to wear those reading glasses All the time. That way you won't loose them!!!"

Anyway my Mom dropped me off and gave me the money to give to the Linda (The lady in Mrs. Jessica's office) the money for Ballet during the Summer. I am so happy due to the fact that the teacher is Mr. Chris. Mrs. Jessica was gone so Mrs. S taught our Ballet class. I REALLY like when Mrs. S substitutes because she makes Ballet way fun than Mrs. Jessica. After Ballet came Tap.In Tap we did our warm up,did our Tap dance twice and then we did a test kind of thing. We had to think of a step that only had one sound then two sounds etc... The came Jazz. My FAVORITE class of all (Mr. Chris's class is second). We did our Jazz dance twice and then did our Lyrical. I REALLY like Lyrical REALLY badly!!! I REALLY want to do it but I might not be able to do it due to the fact most of the people who do Lyrical are all JEMS. So I will just have to wait and see. Then we did our dance one more time. So ended our last day of dance and the last day of having Emily in it with us (*tear, tear, sniffle, sniffle*). We are all gonna miss her real bad.

Last Day Of Pointe Class & My Challenge

Today was the last day of Pointe. I was a little late but the wierdest thing of all is that when I walked in the studio Mr. Chris said "Hello Annie Cook". I was wondering why in the world he called me that because he calls another girl in my class "Cookie" because that is her last name "Cook". I never did figure out why he called me that almost the whole class time. Well first Trias got some paper towels and Mr. Chris put some water on the towels so we could put the tip of our shoes so we wouldn't slip. Then we did the normal sixth position, pleea, pleea, roll all the way up on your toe, pleea, pleea and roll all the way down. Of course we did a lot more barre work. I noticed that this girl named Bianca was glaring at me almost the whole time. She has been doing that for the past few weeks which I can't quite figure out why though. When we did groups at Barre Bianca was talking to Brittany G about something I was standing near where they were talking and after that Bianca said "Don't talk in on conversations you aren't invited to". O and to mention after she said that she blocked me off and kept talking. By then my blood was boiling but I cooled down. After a while we did our Pointe dance. We did it a few times. All apon which Mr. Chris told me I need to get up on Pointe. The last time Mr. Chris critiqued us he said "That was very good better that any other time we have done it today. Then Little-Miss-Thinks-She-Knows-It-All Bianca said "Some of us didn't *cough, cough". O ya now we are talking blood curdling wanting to scream kind of aggravation. Yes, I know that I have a bad habit of getting in on conversations that I wasn't a part of in the beginning but I don't think I did it all that much. Next year I might be able to do Lyrical instead of Pointe. So that was just the beginning of my aggravation.

Later at AWANA during handbook time Nicolas said "I have to go to the bathroom". So I said he could. Well unknown to my knowledge he took his book and went down the Fellowship Hall where he meets his Dad to be picked up. I started getting worried when he was gone for five minutes or so. Finally someone told me he was down at the Fellowship Hall. I told Mrs. S went down there and get Nicolas and bring him back and talk to him. So Nicolas said "I will not disobey my Dad,I am doing what he wants me to do". I responded with " You lied straight to my face". Nicolas didn't care. Nicolas continues with his Know-It-All personality. There is a pick up room right next to the room were we do our sections but his Dad said he wanted to pick him up at the Fellowship Hall because his brother Marco was there along with Sofia but Nicolas and his brother Chris are on the other side of the building. It gets me very angry because if I did what he did this afternoon when I was his age I would have gotten in deep trouble and gotten a spanking. I keep saying to myself "Two more weeks, two more weeks of this challenge" I will seriously doing a happy dance at the end of the AWANA.

Piano Recital and Last First Friday

Yesterday afternoon I had my Piano Recital. We got there a tad bit late because my Dad went a different way to get to the place where the recital was being held. Anyway we snuck in quietly and sat in the very back row. After a few pieces were played it was my turn to play. I played "Great Is The Lord" by Michael W. Smith. Normally I would have tried to play it a tad bit slower but something called agrenaline kicked in and I played it in like ten seconds. Then Mrs. M gave me a medal with "Music" with real music notes in the background with my name and year at the bottom. So then I sat down next to Jamie. Well that was a mistake Jamie started annoying me so I move Mom's purse and camera so I could sit by her instead of Jamie. Anyway after a few more pieces of music were played . Then came the best part "The reception". There was Chic-fl-a chicken nuggets, fruit, cake, cookies and chips and dip. It was all good!!! Then after we chatted with the some people we went to church for First Friday. I will probably will have to explain First Friday so here it goes: "First Friday is on the first Friday of the month,we play board games and stuff". Anyway this time no one shoed up so we packed up all the chips and soft drinks and went home. We might have First Friday during the Fall but since no one showed up and there wasn't much participants when there was people. Yesterday might have been our Last First Friday.

So Sore

My left ankle, both shoulder blades, the back of my neck, butt bone and the top of my head is soo sore!!! First of all my shoulders were already hurting due to the fact I slept the night before with my arms above my head for some odd reason. During Jazz class yesterday we did a Lyrical combination to the song of "The Voice Within". Anyway a part of the combo you have to arabesk and then roll into a tumble and end up on my rear end with your right leg extended with your left leg bent. We went over the move like a dozen times on the gym mats. Then when we did it without the mats. It wasn't too bad until this morning when almost my whole body hurt. I am hoping that my Mom will go to the Wal-Greens down the street and get me a Icey-Hot patch for my shoulders and ankle!!!

Hancock Fabric's

This afternoon Mom,Jamie and I picked up Sandra and Sarah from there house in our car. Then my Mom drove to Hancock Fabric's. When I stepped into the store all I saw was fabric apon fabric. There was cotton fabric, silk fabric, fluffy fabric, sparkly fabric, see through fabric and anymore fabric you can think of. Stephanie (our classes sewing teacher) was already there.By this time it was just Sandra,Sarah,Stephanie's sister and me. So we all went to the place where they had patterns. They had one whole table full of magazines with costumes patterns, aprons patterns, shirts ties patterns etc.. The Mrs. L and her daughter Chelsea arrives late along with another lady with three of her kids. So Stephanie showed us how to find the patterns. Then we went down to the one-hundred percent cotton area. This is where we found fabric to make our aprons. I got a light blue backround with clouds fabric,Sarah got black backround with rainbow stars and Sandra got a pink and silver dragon backround with Japanese anime girls with blond hair sitting in different positions with summer dresses on. After we found our fabric things started getting CRAZY. Some people wanted trim others didn't,a little girl by the name of Maggie started screaming her head off and running every where while her Mother was yelling at her to come back with Sandra ,Sarah and some of the other girls running after her none stop. I am the oldest girl in my sewing class. I personally all of the craziness was a tad bit immature. So this immatureness lasted about twenty minutes. I sat on a bench half the time because I finished so quickly and because my head was throbbing with pain. During all of this my Mom and Jamie were delivering a dinner to Mrs. M. who has cancer (please pray that she will get better!!!). Anyway finally when my Mom arrived I was about to scream so we paid what we needed to pay and left, dropped of Sandra & Sarah then we went home.

Scott Smith: The Bestest Speaker Dude

At 6:15 Jamie,Mom and I went to hear Scott Smith speak a sermon at SCBC. When we got there the place was already packed with people talking and laughing. On the way up to where we were sitting I saw Jesse or was it Josh(See they are identical twins and they are hard to tell apart)? I saw a bunch of other people but I probably wouldn't be able to name them all!!! Anyway we sat down where Mrs. O saved us some seats. Finally Mrs. O along with her daughter came and sat next to us. Lauren ( who is five) sat in my lap most of the time and I sat by my Mom while she was sitting next to me Mrs. O was sitting on her other side. Then the whole congregation sang three or more songs. Lauren stood up on the pew so she could see and so I think so she would be able to play with my hair. Soon after we sang we sat down and listened to the choir sing "Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord". If there was a contest between BPBC's choir and SCBC"s choir,SCBC would DEFINITELY blow us out of the water!!! I think my church's choir needs some lady's who aren't in the highest key you could hit. Personally I think most of the lady's in our choir except for a few here in there, have a seriously high pitched singing voice. Anyway after the choir sang the lead singer dude asked the people who are members of SCBC to stand just to see who was not so that SCBC people could greet them. I absolutely hate when they do stuff like that cause it makes me wish I was back there and not where I am but o'well God is in the details. Soon afterward we sang a song and sat down. Of course we prayed before we heard the preaching. Then Scott Smith started preaching. Normally I wouldn't enjoy listening to a preacher and just sit there and be bored but Scott Smith makes his sermon's funny and interesting!!! Mr. Smith spoke about giving of money to church. It was very good and it was pretty funny. Towards the last half hour Lauren's head ended up resting in my lap asleep. I seriously don't think I could sleep through Scott Smith's sermons. They are always so funny and awfully loud at times!!! So anyway when Mr. O needed to get out of the pew she had to climb over my legs because I couldn't move my legs from the bottom of the pew in front of me due to the fact that I didn't want to wake up Lauren. By the last song I was praying that we would finish soon because my butt was getting numb all to the fact I was sitting in a certain position for like a half hour. Although that happened I still enjoyed it all. After the service I saw Kimmie (My BFF). We talked together for a while, I met her Youth Pastor who was very nice. Sooner than it seemed I had to go home. I was sort of sad when I got home due to the fact that I missed "Extreme Home Makeover How'd They Do That" but I guess it is better to be at Church than to be vegetating in front of the TV.
