Church & NASCAR

This morning at eight o'clock my loving Mother woke me up saying "Wake up and get dressed for Sunday School. Like always I was the ONLY one dressed for Sunday School at eight thirty. Everyone else in my family will be running around in their PJ's looking for shoes or Bibles with of course those certain people who wait the last minute to take a shower and make us ALL late. But now I think about it we were right on time because Sunday School starts at nine o'clock and we got there at nine o'one. So technically we were not late. Anyway, in Big Group we sang "Pharaoh,Pharaoh" and some other songs. Then came the smaller Sunday School classes. I am stuck with a bunch of immature boys, two clique-like girls and one girl a little younger than me whom I mentioned in my last post who's name is Anna. Anna is a pretty fun girl to "hang" with but she is often not at Sunday School because her family and herself get sick a lot it seems. They must not have very good immune systems or something.Well... we did a obstacle course which some how had to do with the lesson about leading your friends to Christ. After Sunday School came Worship Service. I used to enjoy Worship Service but now it is all boring. The songs are VERY boring and slow and is it enough they use an organ for EVERY song!!! I would rawther be in the Nursery helping in some way or another than being bored. Soon after the Worship Service my family and I went home. I do what I normally do on Sunday Afternoons: dump out Beatrice's bedding and put new bedding in and read a book. Today though at two thirty was the Daytona five hundred. I watched the first few laps but then I fell asleep. I tend to fall asleep when I watch races now. I guess I am just getting old(LOL). I woke up and there was only a few more laps to go but I had to go to Small Group at church. My Mom taped the end so I was able to watch it when I got home.Anyway, in small group we did the normal "Break-the-ice" kind of thing where you learn about each other and stuff. The only other girl in my group is Sara. Sara is ok but she is higher in the "Youth Food chain". Right now since I am in seventh grade I am considered scum of the earth because I was a sixth grader last year. Once you hit eighth grade your position in the chain gets higher and higher until you are the Big Kahuna in Youth.Anywho I went home and watched the end of the race. Jr. was in first for a lap in a half but then that no-good-stinking-rotten-trophy stealer Jeff Gorden got up front and won the Daytona five hundred. When I think Jeff Gorden I think a evil cynical man. Jr. on the other hand is like his Daddy: Cool,a little tuff around the edges and all around ok guy. After watching the end of the race I turned the channel to ABC to watch Extreme Homemakeover. I was disappointed because I only got to watch the last few minutes of it. Then I watched Sue Thomas F.B eye on PAX. Let me just tell you Sue Thomas F.B eye is one of those better detective shows to watch. They don't show bloody scenes or people making out. One episode even had God mentioned in it bunch of times. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone!! It comes on PAX every Sunday night but I don't know what time you will have to check that part out on the T.V guide.
